PBC Shea Limited is a subsidiary of PBC Limited, and has a manufacturing facility located at Buipe in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region of Ghana. The factory has the capacity to process 200mt a day of shea nuts into shea butter, sourcing nuts from five (5) Northern Regions of Ghana and the West Africa.

PBC Shea Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company under the Company Act 1963 of Ghana (Act 179) in December, 2010. The company was certified to commence the business of manufacturing shea butter and other oils from shea nuts and other plant sources. The company also received license to operate under the Ghana Free Zones Act 1995 (Act 504) to process shea nuts into shea butter in March 2011.

Other certifications the company operates under include the Ghana Export Promotion Council (November 2015), Plant Protection and Regulatory Services (November 2015) and Kosher (October, 2017).
